Dominic Martin said: “East Hampshire has been taken for granted by the Conservatives as they have held it for nearly 150 years."
“This was a historic result. East Hampshire is now one of the most marginal seats in the country. We have a real opportunity to defeat them next time and have our first non-Conservative MP in over a century.
“I am really grateful for such strong support from the local community. Thank you.”
While Conservative MPs returned to Parliament and immediately started infighting, our Lib Dem local champions have been holding the government to account.
Lib Dem MPs opposed the government’s cut to Winter Fuel Payments, started campaigns to end sewage dumping and began work to reform the NHS and social care.
